after a very chilly night (for us), i woke up to catch the last bits of a heavy fog melting away down into the valley. it looked a bit like a bowl full of cream.

new soaps coming soon…..soooon…..soooooon…..
things have been excruciatingly slow around here! we’ve had delays, equipment malfunctions, mishaps with ordering parts, foreign electrical plugs adapted…..but i am happy to announce that our new soaps will be ready at last in just.two.more.weeks!thank you to all who have been so patient so far.i really didn’t foresee this amount of drama and delay. we had a particularly large quantity of orders to despatch, on this sunny monday morning.this is close to four times our usual daily output and it all had to go to cairns, to save a day of traveling around locally with the courier.the back of the car was very low….so we re-packed about 75 kilos [...]

i treated myself to some creative fun today. soapmaking has been very slow around here (illness and injury) and we’ve been pretty much focussed on just catching up with regular stuff….no time for frivolity!however, i had some organic biodynamic yoghurt from mungalli creek dairy and i made a seriously citrus blend with five-fold tangerine, five-fold [...]
