december full moon soap
Posted on | December 3, 2009 | 2 Comments
the full moon peaked at 6.33pm here last night, so i was duly mixing lye into oils at that moment, as per my own astro-soaping-rules-of-engagement.
she’s a blue, white and silver soap again….i can’t resist it….and i made a blend on the fly of: lime/vetiver/basil/lavender/may chang/black pepper.
i free-poured eos until they smelt good together and didn’t take any notes.
this soap will not be repeated because i cannot duplicate the blend!
photos when it is cut later today.
if anyone needs a moon phase calender, my favourite one is here.

Patti, I love thinking of you making full moon soap. I also love that it’s a one of a kind. Free pouring a 6 eo blend takes a certain amount of guts, I think. The soap & scent sounds positively lovely. I hope you plan to bathe with it by the light of a full moon.

ellen…it was a nice slow moving oil mix and i had time to pour and sniff and pour again and sniff again.
and you know how it is: after the first fifty million batches, you get a certain confidence and you just know what 100g of essential oil feels like to pour.
