meltem soap

this soap was made for meltem’s wedding bonbonieres.
she has such a beautiful and evocative name!
meltem are the strong, dry north winds of the aegean sea, which blow from about mid-may to mid-september. during hot summer days, this is by far the most preferred weather type and is considered a blessing.
doesn’t that just make you feel all blue seas and long warm days and the scent of rosemary and lemons on the rocky hillsides?
so, i wanted to create a soap that was summery and pretty and mediterranean, and here it is:

it contains: silk, honey, green tea, lavender, calendula, rose petals, mineral oxides plus an essential oil blend of lemon/rosemary/lavender/patchouli/petitgrain/may chang/orange.
