i belong to an online micro-lending thingamabob called kiva.
i lend to all sorts of entrepreneurs….women, agriculture and handicrafts seem to catch my attention most of the time.
today, a soapmaker on one of my teams, left a message about a soapmaker in ghana.
here she is, naomi.
if you’ve got USD$25 in your paypal account, sitting there doing nothing….you might consider joining our lending team.
on the whole, loans are filled quickly at kiva….so if you miss out on naomi there are hundreds more entrepreneurs who need a helping hand.

I have signed up to sponsor a woman through “Women For Women” I am looking forward to the paper work.
I do hope that this is not a scam. I have good feelings about it and hope they are correct.
I feel that sometime just a small hand of help will be all it takes to give someone hope.
