kittens!!

it’s a long story….but we ended up adopting two small kittens from the cairns RSPCA this week.
introducing mushroom and fennel…..adorable stripey miniature felines.
they are not brother and sister; the girl, mushroom, is about two weeks older than fennel.

he is fearless, darkly and evenly striped all over, stocky, friendly, fuzzy-coated and is already proving a terror at climbing on computer keyboards and into bowls of pasta and latte glasses.

she is lean, rangy, pale, multi-coloured stripes all over, with a delicate triangular face and a smooth, silky, tight-fitting coat.

this afternoon, we took a nap with the pair of them.
is there anything better than falling asleep with a tiny warm kitten curled up on you and purring so hard that it’s entire body rumbles?
