finalising new soaps for 09/10

i’m running a little late with this (ok, a month), but we’ve had a bit of a busy year so far.
it’s may already….and i’m in deep shock about it! where did the time go?
i’ve made a major effort this weekend to corral all the inchoate ideas for my new soaps…how did w.b. yeats put it?
“…..bring the balloon of the mind
that bellies and drags in the wind
into its narrow shed”
…and actually wring some sense out of it all.
in this case, wring five gorgeous new soaps:
amarantine
chai guy
ful-wallah
ghost gum
winter haiku
i love evocative names for my soaps!
sadly, to make room for the new, we’ve had to start phasing out a few.
getting the chop:
petrichor
taniwha
dewi sri
dreamtime
caraboo
…. well done thou good and faithful servants …. i always feel terrible when it is time to retire soaps….poor little things.
i’ll be spicing things up with new ingredients, new essential oil blends, new stories and some new presentation.
photos and more details by the end of the month!
