soap and swine flu

after a morning of reading increasingly alarming reports of swine flu, i have three suggestions for surviving the pandemic:
1. isolate yourself (stock up on food supplies and stay home….i’m going out to buy canned and dried stuff in a few minutes…even enough for a couple of weeks could make a difference).
2. cover your mouth and nose when you sneeze.
3. WASH YOUR HANDS with soap and water for at least 20 seconds.
you don’t need a lot of fancy antibacterial stuff….ordinary old soap and water will do the trick.
i did spot this etsy listing for swine be gone soap.
hilarious!
plain soap will do the trick, although tea tree oil never hurts.
and i am utterly convinced as to the magical powers of the neti pot and will not be parted from mine.
of course, if you need soap in a hurry, we’ve got plenty to choose from here.
just because we are preventing a pandemic doesn’t mean we have to look boring or smell ordinary!
worldwide disease and chaos is no reason to let standards slip or be reduced to a lack of chic.
