lemon tree

this lemon tree languished in a pot on a hot balcony, for years, when we lived in cairns.
when we moved here, it got transplanted into the ground at last, but i fear we didn’t pick a very intelligent spot for it.
it’s still only about fifty centimetres tall and up until now, it has borne fruit grudgingly….but this year looks set to pass all previous records.
look at the poor little thing…..absolutely loaded!
how i love having access to fresh lemons…we’ve planted two different types out the front of the vegetable beds and in a more sheltered spot.
i hope they absolutely flourish there.
