soggy garden pix

it stopped raining for a few minutes today, so we all piled outside to do some weeding.
i took a few pix, of course.
first up…2/3 of the rainforest planting is mulched.
then a shot of the huge quantities of mulch straw required. luckily they are rolling these things downhill to the mulch area!
my new white grevillea blossom, covered in raindrops.
curved garden bed, getting very established.
front fence line with pink phylanthus…these will make a lovely thick hedge with loads of bright pink new growth tips.
the start of eventual 220m fence-line down the side of the land, with brush cherries, a type of delicious edible lilly pilly (syzigium australis).
some new pink growth ( a syzigium wilsonii wilsonii crossed with something else) after all the rain.
