this is the first 300 trees for our eventual rainforest paradise.
we are hoping to encourage lumholtz tree kangaroos with a mixture of trees that will feed and shelter them.

the bobcat, ripping up trenches for us to plant in.
the trenches will also hold rainwater so the whole lot doesn’t slide down the hill…or need watering every five minutes.

directly to the right of the top of the bobcat cabin, you will see an expanse of gorgeous green lawn leading to the creek.
our neighbour down there is also committed to tree planting for lumholtz habitat…he came up and helped us out yesterday (lovely man) and we swapped tips.
his trees arrive next week: i guess we’ll be down there with sleeves rolled up at some stage.
