how does your garden grow?

the difference a couple of months makes!
we hand watered like maniacs for a few weeks, but the Wet has well and truly started now.
in fact it is currently bucketing down so hard i cannot hear myself type and we are shouting at one another to be heard over the din of rain on the tin roof.
the water has overwhelmed the gutters and is pouring merrily over the side.
it’s incredible.
but i digress.
here is our freshy erected passionfruit and jasmine trellis with native grasses in front and rainforest saplings in the foreground.
and here it all is two months later:
the nice grassed area in the middle will be a wonderful shady picnic spot when all the rainforest grows up.
i suspect that weeding is going to be our main preoccupation over the next few months.
