new boys

a few days ago, we went to the RSPCA to see if there were any cats who’d like to come home with us.
as it happens, there WERE two boys who were just waiting there for us.
they are both young adult males, between 18 months and 2 years old.
both were in the same “room” at the shelter and they both just clicked with us.
we had intended on getting kittens, but it’s much harder to place adult cats and these guys just caught our eye.

they are both beautiful, friendly, relaxed and settling in very well at the soap farm.
miss mousie and pukeko are coping very well with the newbies…there has been minimal disruption.
first night home….huge lightning and thunder and rain….two new cats in the bed with us!

i”m not biased or anything, but i have to agree.
and as caramello gains a little weight, he is getting even more gorgeous.
