peaches and cream

lately it seems that we’ve been watering the garden every minute we haven’t been making soap!
a few dry hot days and our little trees are all gasping!
multiply that by hundreds of little trees and you’ve got a big job on your hands.

i was thrilled to spot this grevillea doing very nicely.
it is called peaces and cream and it is so pretty.
the tree is only about 40 cm high and already covered in these enormous blooms!

and naturally, the minute i go out there with my camera, look at who had to climb up a tree and show off.
