R.I.P. fatpanda

a neighbour just came over…she was walking her dog and spotted a cat who had been killed on our road.
we ran out to look and sure enough….it was our sweet little agapanthus.

we’ve put her gently into an essential oil box and we’ll be digging a hole tomorrow with the post-hole digger thing from the re-vegetation unit down the road.

we are going to dreadfully miss that fat bossy pretty little terror, with the high-pitched squeak, and the mouse-hunting ways, who used to land on our bed like a piece of thistledown alighting with all four fat marshmallow sets of toes at once, and used to leap right into the refrigerator when you opened the door and loved having her belly stroked and had the nicest softest tail ever.
she really was a delightful and funny little cat…she started out as a very aloof kitten who used to stare at us with huge eyes and she grew into a responsive and loving beastie.
she was only 2 years old.

i’m really not over losing telemachus and losing the fatpanda right now has just made everything very bleak.
