after our time in BC, this is our favourite new snack.
nom nom nom.
our cats are going to be so jealous when they hear about this good stuff.
this recipe is from “salmon cookery” by ann kask.

1 b fresh or frozen salmon
marinade:
1/4 cup soy sauce
1 TBLSP brown sugar
1/8 tsp pepper
1/ tsp liquid smoke
remove skin from salmon.
cut into 1/4 inch strips
boil together marinade ingredients, then allow to cool.
marinate samon for 30 mins to one hour, dependng on how strong you like the flavour.
lay samon strips in food dryer or oven.
dry in a food dryer or at 150 F/ 65 C in oven for 5 to 6 hours or util dry ad eathery to touch.
store in airtight jars in refrigerator.
