wedding cake

maurice and i made my cousin’s wedding cake in vancouver recently.
we walked into a terrible kitchen with bad equipment and an unknown oven and we baked two huge carrot cakes:

the cake, waiting on the side of the road, for the taxi that never came (90 mins LATE)….my cousin, his daughter and wife and two sections of cake:

the next day, it was time for frosting with cream cheese icing:
