windows on my mac!

this afternoon, i decided to roll my sleeves up and go ahead and do it.
i need windows for a few applications that i just don’t want to operate without….quickbooks, mobipocket reader, photoshop elements spring to mind….and after 2 weeks being all mac, it was actually painful to turn the PC on.
sooooooooo
i got boot camp up and running.
partitioned the hard drive.
found and installed XP with service pack 2.
got firefox and avg and a bunch of other stuff happening.
dragged biz documents in via my external hard drive.
and the final step is to install QB, which will be happening next weekend.
i can hardly believe i managed it all on my own.
but it astonishes me how fast and thoroughly
i have become a mac user.
XP felt all awkward and heavy.
o well.
i’ll only have to use it for invoicing and reading!

i went to the windows side of my mac yesterday and starting cussing within a few minutes. i am installing qb on it. it will move so slooooooooowwww.

i hear ya.
and the damned thing is SO UGLY.
mac is PRETTY.
i am going to see if i can get my soapmaker program switched over here too.
may as well.
