first posting from the mac

the first thing i’ve had to do is to learn is a lot of keyboard shortcuts….and there are many more in my future i am sure!

i phoned my ISP this morning and got put thru to the mac department.
my connection problem was speedily resolved….i was simply not selecting the correct something or other.
when i hit the right thingie, all the numbers i laboriously sought out last night came magically up on the screen, automatically.
srsly, who knows their IP and their subnet mask numbers off by heart?

for now i am just fooling around with the white beast and figuring out where everything lives.
it’s all very beautiful.
and yes miss moni, it IS about time i got a mac!
