apple mac

well i did it.

i decided to stop whining about vista and just go do something about it.
i went to the city today and left with a shiny new white apple macbook.
it’s got 2GB of something and 160GB of something else.
i bought a wireless mouse…and 3 years of applecare….and a red wetsuit case to put it all in.
i’ve got one of those green timbuk2 messenger bags coming from ebay, so i’ll look like a total hacker at airports.

i’ve been playing around with it this evening, but cannot get it connected to the internet.
i’ll need to phone somebody for all the intelligence.
lots of weird acronyms and numbers.

in the meantime, the mac is zipped up and looking all very compact and adorable.
i am going to have a lot of fun with it, i can tell.

so, yes, PC desktop (windows XP) and mac laptop.
i have a foot in either camp.
and it feels pretty good.
it’s not wishy washy!
it’s flexible! and prepared!

and once you’ve gone mac….you never go back.
