earrings

i really haven’t worn any earrings apart from a discreet pair of diamond studs, for years and years and years.
last year, the earring bug bit hard and i suddenly became obsessed with festooning my earlobes with jewels.
of course, etsy is the place for all kinds of one-off jewels, including fifty million pairs of earrings in every style you can imagine….and quite a few you cannot imagine.

i love this artist’s work in particular.
and tonight, as i was posting some new soap listings, skydreams was posting these earrings.
how gorgeous are these things?
DIVINE!!!
i just have to look at the pics and i am at versailles, listening to violins and fountains over the tinkling of my earrings, while someone peels me a grape…..
