i wish i’d had a bar of soap handy

we went for a nice motorcycle ride on sunday….down the palmerston highway to innisfail, for a truly terrible lunch at the RSL there.
we should know better…..but nothing else was open and we were hungry.

we were rewarded with beautiful views and dramatic weather….threatening thunderstorms but never quite getting around to it.
we enjoyed all the brooding black clouds mixed with bright sunlight.

on the way home, we stopped at a little tiny waterfall.
the water falls about ten metres or so, into the most beautiful little natural stone basin.
i wanted to get right down there immediately, with a bar of soap and wash the road grime off me.
i will have to wait for that experience on another day.
