new music

sadly, pandora radio www.pandora.com does not have the licensing for global listeners.
at this stage it is US-only….but they are working on it.
they found me out by my IP address and stripped my pandora-ness from me.

in desperation, i went searching the net, figuring if there was one place online where i could listen to new music, then logic dictated that there would be others.
sure enough.

quite a different concept to pandora…..you can play by request and create playlists that way.
they have a very comprehensive list of artists and albums.
it all plays within your browser, there is no download malarkey.

so, while i am sad that pandora is no longer available o me (for the time being), i am consoled more than somewhat by soundpedia.

currently listening to the moody rocking sounds of the dandy warhols …odditorium or warlords of mars.

it’s early yet, but it’s looking like a gorgeous day!
looks like great riding weather, in fact.

yesterday we picked up some black leather saddlebags for the shadow.
i don’t carry a lot of stuff generally…..not a real handbag type….but sometimes you need to carry stuff on the bike and it’s all too much for pockets.
i resisted the urge to get the ones covered in metal studs….i could see rust ahead…i went with very plain black bags and big buckles and a sort of braided edging as the sole decoration.
and a divine helmet caught my eye…..with pink flowers airbrushed over a black background….gorgeous effect. but $700? i don’t think so.
still, i bookmarked it.
