anzac day project

i picked these today…..there are about thirty kilograms of chillies out there to harvest.
here’s the real joke: they are all self-sown from last year.
we planted a few types of chillies and they just went mental and took over.
these are a bit past their prime, but will be fine for sauce.
i think tomorrow will be chilli sauce-making day.
i have a nice recipe in mind, with asian flavours.

    Those are stunning!
Our solitary jalapeño plant wintered over and is starting to bud, but I generally have poor luck with peppers in my area.

i am beginning to think that peppers are ALL i can grow!
i think we have the right sil and the exact climate they like…..they certainly got no attention from me….i didn’t even plant them!
    no water, no compost, NADA.
